Ginza Tenshi no Sumika

This store can be a little tricky to find, but is worth a visit all the same. It's quite a small store, and very narrow inside, but it has a very nice, cozy feel to it. It also often has things the other stores don't have. Not only does it occasionally stock unusual things such as SD sized weapons, and very expensive kimonos, but it also often has items that are sold out at the other stores, including more popular wigs, eyes, and clothes. If you can't find it elsewhere, try Ginza. ^_^ Ginza also has a sale section; it's at the front of the store, near the windows. Face the windows and turn left, and all the clothes squished into that little corner there are on sale. As with all Sumika stores, Ginza is dedicated to SD and Dollfie Dream items only.

How to get there:
Catch the Ginza Line, the Hibiya Line, or the Marunouchi Line to Ginza station. (You can also catch the Yurakucho line to Ginza Icchoume station, but I don't have pics for that!) No matter which ticket gates you come out of (there are quite a few) you'll be in an underground plaza with lots of signs pointing to different exits. Follow the signs for exit A8. Ignore all other exits.

When you walk up the stairs of exit A8, you will find yourself in front of the large Mitsukoshi department store -- if you look way up, you will see 'Mitsukoshi' written in English at the top of the store. (If you happen to come out another exit by mistake, ask someone to point you towards Mitsukoshi.) Basically, you should see something like this:

With the stairs of exit A8 directly behind you, and with Mitsukoshi on your right, simply walk straight ahead. Ginza Sumika is less than a block away, which is why this is the best exit!

When you see the street looking like this:

Slow down! ^_^ It's not clear in the above picture, but what you're looking for is this:

That says 'Tenshi no Sumika Ginza' in Japanese. However, you don't want to be staring upwards the whole time you're walking, and the Japanese is difficult to remember, so instead, look for this:

The black sign with the white text says, in clear English, 'Teijin Men's Shop'. So look for that. The building you want to enter is the one just before the Teijin Men's Shop sign. It looks like this:

See the little flight of stairs on the right there? Follow those stairs all the way up until you reach an elevator. Yes, the elevator starts at level 2. Ginza Tenshi no Sumika is on level 4, so take the elevator to level 4, and you're there. Have fun! ^o^
