Kohaku is the same headmold as Hisui, and the LE models Kohaku and Hisui. The FCS number for this headmold is F-14.
Kohaku is sold as a kit version that must be assembled and given a faceup by the owner. Volks will assemble Kohaku and give him a faceup for you for a small fee.
The '08 renewal of the standard series was a part of the Sumika Standard Fair 2008. All of the MSD, SD and SD13 standard models were 'renewed'. They were all upgraded to UV Protect Pure Skin (previously only Mark and Elena had UV Protect), they now all come with KIPS joint sheets as a standard (in pure skin normal colour), they now all have the 'Schpitt Function' in their head (this is the magnets that allow the head caps to be easily removed), all of the SD and SD13 were given new renewal faceups, which now come UV Coated, and their packaging was upgraded to the new 'drawer' style boxes that were first released with SD13 LE Eden. The prices were also all slightly raised. However, the MSD and SD now no longer come with eyelashes - only the renewed SD13 still have eyelashes.
Although these new renewal versions were released on September 13th and could be pre-ordered at all Volks stores and via the Volks website from that date, they were not immediately available to be taken home at that time. The first models did not start reaching customers until late October.
This version of Kohaku was discontinued as of September 2010. Although there may be stock still available at some locations, no new versions of Kohaku will be sold by Volks. This headmold is now only available to be ordered via FCS.
