White Rabbit is a part of the 'Journey to Dream Nights: Chapter 5' story arc along with Little Alice, Little Lorina, the White Rabbit Sweet Dream Version, the Hatter, and the Queen of Hearts. Their story is based on the well-known book "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" by Lewis Carroll.
White Rabbit and Little Alice were 100% guaranteed to be purchasable by every person who attended the Grand Prince Hotel event. Attendance to the event was be decided by lottery, however everyone who won the lottery to attend was able to apply for each YoSD, with a guarantee of purchase. Not all the YoSD ordered were available to take home on the day of the event, however; some were shipped later.
White Rabbit, Little Alice, Little Lorina, and White Rabbit Sweet Dream were also made available at NY Dolpa 4. The LEs were offered in three ways; attendees could apply together with their lottery ticket application and were guaranteed purchase, just like with the Grand Price Hotel event. There were then a limited number of LEs available to be purchased on the second day of NY Dolpa 4, for those who might have changed their minds after seeing the display models. Finally, another limited number were made available via lottery on the website after the event, for VolksUSA members who could not attend the event in person.
Attendees of the Grand Prince Hotel event who purchased Little Alice or the White Rabbit were also allowed to apply for Alice's Turn The Key Set and the White Rabbit's Don't Be Late Set. Purchase of either YoSD allowed you to apply for either or both sets. NY Dolpa 4 attendees could apply for these sets even without purchase of the YoSD. However for both events, purchase of the sets was not guaranteed; winners were be decided by lottery.
Unlike most YoSD sold at Dolpa events, the White Rabbit and Little Alice come with glass eyes and with their outfits included. This explains why their price is higher than most YoSD.
