Ushiwakamaru is the only SD10 LE boy to be released with the jointed torso instead of the non-jointed. He also came with tabi feet instead of normal feet.
Ushiwakamaru is based on the well-known historical figure Minamoto no Yoshitsune.
A separate set was sold along with Ushiwakamaru that included special flute-holding hands, a flute, and a katana with sheath. At the time of Dolpa 13 it could only be bought if you bought Ushiwakamaru, but it was later sold separately at Tenshi no Sato until it sold out.
He is a part of the "Echoes of a Beautiful Banquet" story arc along with Amakusa, Souji and Genji.
